Why We Play

Civic literacy is not a trivia game. It is the working knowledge that lets an adult American recognize a right when it applies, name a jurisdiction when it matters, and see a founding principle in the situations of ordinary life — a traffic stop, a workplace conversation about wages, a public protest, a state law that quarrels with a federal one.

Most Americans went through school without ever being asked to reason from the Constitution to a real situation. The Compass is the missing exercise. It teaches by testing, and it grades honestly — no participation trophies, no dressed-up quiz masquerading as understanding. Miss a question and you get the reasoning back in plain English, plus a specific place in the free GSU library to shore it up. Clear the bar and you have proven something real about yourself: you can carry the Constitution into your daily life.

How the Compass Works

Thirty scenarios in three tiers. Each answer is graded immediately and explained in full. Everything runs on your device — nothing is collected, nothing is sent.
