When Help Is Far Away

Restart the Heart.

You won't read about CPR here. You'll do it. Someone has collapsed in front of you. Run the rescue, step by step — find the spot, push to the beat, work the defibrillator — while GENO coaches you. Learn it with your hands, so it's there when it counts.

This is a Comprehension Certificate — not a medical certification or license. A simulation teaches the steps; it cannot replace a hands-on, manikin-based CPR course or professional care. If you can, take a real class and always call for trained help. This drill is built around an adult who suddenly collapses.

AED safety
What you just practiced — burn it in:
  • Push hard, push fast: 100–120 compressions a minute, at least 2 inches deep (not past 2.4).
  • All the way up: let the chest fully recoil between pushes — don't lean.
  • Don't stop: keep interruptions under 10 seconds. Hands-only is enough for an adult if you're not trained in breaths.
  • AED the instant it arrives: power on, pads on a bare dry chest, hands off while it analyzes and shocks, then push again immediately.
